Swing out Wastebasket
You can use any small wastebasket with a lipped edge, but the one we used is made by Rubbermaid. It’s 10 in. wide, and will work on any vanity door more than 11 in. wide. This setup will work under your kitchen sink as well, using a larger wastebasket that will hold a grocery bag as a liner.

1. MOUNT two plastic mirror clips to the back of your vanity door. Make sure they’re level with each other, and low enough so the wastebasket’s top edge will just clear the door opening. Also, space the clips far enough apart to prevent the wastebasket from sliding from side to side. You’ll probably need to use shorter screws than those in the clip package so they won’t come through the other side of the door.
